I had lifting restrictions for 6 weeks, nothing over 10-15lbs, one of those!
How much work can you do two weeks after a hysterectomy?
Two weeks after a hysterectomy is still early in the recovery process. At this point, you're likely still healing and may not be ready for a full return to work, especially if it involves physical activity.

I am about 3 weeks out from a robotic full hysterectomy and I would say take it easy, nothing strenuous.
Take it easy cos I had some abdominal pain when I over did it with bending down for things.
I hope you are doing well.

I was just 6 weeks out from my total hysterectomy on Wednesday. At my checkup my surgeon said I was still healing inside and to take it easy for three more weeks. Do not push it at all. Better to be safe.
Thank you Eileen... I will definitely watch what I do from here on out.. yes, the work will always be there.
You take care also! ๐
