My scalp is tender too, about 2 weeks after chemo, then it goes away. I’m not sure I’ve experienced the bumps. I think cleaning my head with baby shampoo helps, but not too often.

What gentle treatments might help with tender scalp bumps?

While scalp bumps aren't a typical symptom directly discussed in endometrial cancer resources, if you're experiencing this during treatment, it's important to talk with your healthcare provider first. They can determine the cause and recommend safe options that won't interfere with your cancer treatment.

Some general gentle approaches that might help include:

- Applying cool compresses to reduce inflammation and discomfort
- Using mild, fragrance-free shampoos to avoid irritation
- Avoiding scratching or picking at the bumps
- Keeping the area clean and dry

If you're undergoing chemotherapy, scalp sensitivity can occur as a side effect. Your oncology team can suggest specific products that are safe to use during treatment.

Never apply heat, medications, or topical treatments without checking with your doctor first, as some may interact with your cancer therapy or mask symptoms that need medical attention.
