For me it was two weeks. I met with the oncologist on the 28th May and had the Surgery on June 12th.

For me it was 2 months from diagnosis to hysterectomy.
This included a PET scan before surgery.

We're pretty much on the same timeline. I was diagnosed six days ago with endometrioid carcinoma grade 1. I just got an oncology outpatient appointment for next Wednesday, so just under 2 weeks from diagnosis to first oncology appointment.

I'm not yet sure when the actual surgery will be. For me the stress of waiting is mostly about wanting to know what stage the cancer is. Every ache or feeling of exhaustion or slight change in normal functioning has me obsessing over whether it's a sign that the cancer has spread. I'm trying to use the time to work through my feelings about having a hysterectomy, and getting the house set up for recuperating after surgery. I'm also doing some preparing for the worst because that's how my brain works.

I hope you get an appointment soon and that there are pockets of reduced stress for you in the middle of this horrible unknown.

Thank you for the reply. I am currently waiting on a call from the gynecology oncologist for my first appointment. I found out my official results three days ago and every day feels like an eternity.
I was diagnosed with endometrioid carcinoma Figo grade 1 so I think it was caught very early.

Hi Kevy. Mine was 4 weeks I believe. But when I got the call it was “ cancer” , even that was an eternity- I wanted it out as soon as possible!
