Fran, I had stage 1A recurrent metastatic endometrial cancer. If diagnosed at the time of the recurrence, it would have been a stage 4. I had Keytruda immunotherapy drug at each of my chemotherapy treatments. I was supposed to have two years of maintenance treatments with the Keytruda, but I had some rare complications and am unable to do the maintenance. But despite the problems I had, my oncologist thinks I benefited from the Keytruda.

I have Stage 4b endometrial cancer and have finished my chemo series of Carboplatin, Taxol, and Keytruda. My Oncologist wanted me to continue with Keytruda and I refused as I have no molecular markers on which it is known to work. I figure it would just make me miserable for the time I have left.
I have been reading "Radical Remission" by Kelly A. Turner, Ph.d. It is very interesting to read what protocols people followed who "beat" cancer and have gone into remission. Following your intuition is one of the common behaviors of survivors. I will post more info on the Radical Remission protocol.

Hi Anne, stage 4B, doing chemo and Keytruda. I expect Keytruda will likely be recommended at the end of chemo. I don't know for how long or what other recommendations will be made. Next week I will have 4th of 6th rounds.

This is a great question and one I am thinking about alot lately. I would love to hear others experiences with this drug.

Stage 4b here. Excellent results with chemo and Keytruda one more round (number 6) coming up. My PDL1 is 0%. They are recommending Keytruda post surgery (scheduled for mid July).

I know with recurrent and advanced endometrial cancer they do immunotherapy no matter what ur PDL1 is but it is bothering me considering the serious side effects of this drug.

I am stage 4. Had a hysterectomy, radiation, Brachytherapy, Taxol and now on Keytruda/Lenvima. Not sure how long I will need to continue. My doctor thinks another year.
