With external beam, my advise is to do what you need to before treatment. AfterI was useless. I was able to drive back and forth to all 28 except for the last 2 Friday's, they caught up with me and I was really, really tired. Positive note, best sleep I've had in a long time! Eat what appeals to you.
I would ask about Brachytherapy, a much shorter course of treatment targeted to the cap ( top of the vaginia ), which is new as part of the hysterectomy. It is done three times, three days apart, for either 9 or 10 minutes. There were side effects, but the area was protected.
