Sorry about what you are going through. I am in my first round of chemo for uterine carcinosarcoma, a rare aggressive cancer. I'm afraid of it coming back after chemo and radiation.

Most recurrences will occur within 1-3 years of initial treatment, but sometimes it’s longer. My first recurrence was just about 3 years after my hysterectomy & external radiation. The second was a year after that & now I’m having tests to determine if I’m having a 3rd recurrence. I was stage 3c at the time of my hysterectomy. Endometrioid adenocarcinoma.

Hysterectomy and 5 rounds of radiation in 2018.Reoccured February 2025 lymph nodes in pelvic region. Getting chemotherapy.

Mine metastized to my right lung 9 months after my total hysterectomy and 28 rounds of radiation. I have mmmt stage 4B carsinosarcoma.
