My oncologist had been ordering the C 125 testing every 3 weeks over the past 2+ years when I was getting my infusions but now she has switched over to what she believes is a more accurate test and she continues to do Pet Scans every 3 months because I was unable to receive the radiation that was recommended. I don’t have the information near me but I think the name of the company is Natera and the blood test for endometrial cancer is called Signature. A representative comes to my house to draw. It is supposedly more accurate than a C-125 but I am not an expert so it’s always best to check with your oncologist.

When I got the results from the company the report stated negative which I think meant that the lab did not find any cancer cells that match the cells of my cancer (my hospital had sent them some cells from my cancer that were taken when I had my hysterectomy. When I asked them did negative mean that I don’t have cancer I think the answer was that there is no test that can guarantee I don’t have cancer when it is in the beginning (cell stage) but based on history ( which is only about 2 years because it’s a newly developed blood test) my test results mean there is a 92% chance that I don’t have cancer).
