Hi all, I have decided to go forward with the Keytruda. Surgery scheduled for 7/16. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers.
My best to you all!
Linda
Thanks for the information Eileen! :)
Linda, I received immunotherapy along with my chemo of taxol and carboplatin. And after my 6 rounds, I continued to receive the immunotherapy. The side effects have been tolerable and my CT scan have been clear for the last year (surgery was 7/2023). I will be done with immunotherapy 12/2025. Good luck with your treatment.
Good morning,
I asked my surgeon about radiation and wrinkled my face. He didn't give me a definitive answer but seemed to lean no. He doesn't like to get ahead of things and I think he wants to do the surgery and see what the results are first. They are recommending ongoing immunotherapy which I am questioning as I dont have the markers for that. I understand they believe it still helps but I am weighing side effects etc., and want to have a good conversation a out it.
My best,
Linda
Hi, have you had chemo and immunotherapy? It is my understanding that is usually the first approach. I was diagnosed with stage 4B. Completing 6 rounds of Chemo/Immunotherapy. Scheduled for surgery mid July.
My best,
Linda
