I wish they had a better marker for EC. The only time my CA-125 was elevated was when my cancer spread to my mediastinal lymph nodes. When I had 2 prior recurrences in my vagina my CA-125 was in the normal range. I am being treated for uterine serous cancer. Hugs

CA-125 is a protein that some endometrial cancers release into the bloodstream. A high CA-125 level, like 465, may indicate that cancer has spread beyond the uterus. However, it's important to note that CA-125 is not used as a diagnostic test for endometrial cancer by itself.

Your healthcare team will monitor CA-125 levels periodically to:
- Track how well treatment is working
- Check if levels decrease after surgery
- Monitor for potential spread of cancer While this number may seem concerning, remember that CA-125 is just one of many tools your healthcare team uses to evaluate your condition. The most important thing is to discuss these results with your doctor, who can explain what they mean specifically for your situation and treatment plan.
