Thank you for asking Karen, I’m doing OK, I have been referred to Hospice Care at this point. My husband and I don’t feel I’m actually ready for that yet and it is very expensive. So we are on our own for now, I will search for a better health plan in November, we are hoping to start with Hospice Services at the first of the year. The Lord has been very good to me, and I am comfortable and pain free for now. Marlene

Hi Marlene. I’m sure you are not alone. And sounds like you are really struggling with your diagnosis. Years ago I had this struggle as well , only I was the caregiver. I’d been going to teaching that essentially said that if I prayed “ hard enough “ that healing would come. I have been forced to challenge that one sided theology. We are truine beings ( spirit soul and body ) (. This is my belief and I am not criticizing any other beliefs- this was my journey). We can be healed in our spirit and soul ( mind will emotions). As well as physically. I know God uses doctors and medicine to help us. And I thank Him for the medical breakthroughs . So while I trust Him I am also getting a non FDA approved pill for treatment of my cancer ( serous endometrial) it has shrunk my tumors by 85%. Praise God. I will be totally healed either this side of Heaven or certainly the other side. The people I’ve met in this journey have affected me deeply and I pray that I also have affected their journeys. Human nature tends toward extremes. Yours is a deeply personal journey and no one can tell you the choices you must make. I hope this helps you . God bless you . Hugs
