I am currently on a chemo/immuno plan using Keytruda. According to studies and my doctor the mean time for progression free survival is 2-2.5 years.
Thank you! It’s the first evidence I’ve seen that the Keytruda/Lenvima combo can produce results again after a treatment pause.

I hope you are able to have a wonderful trip!!!
I saw a paper (I will try to find it and share) about one patient that was able to be on lenvima/keytruda combo for 5 years. The combo pushed her to NED; She did have side effects that caused her to go off for several weeks and then resume as the tumors came back. But with this off and on approach she was able to manage the medication and also get the benefits.
ProfT - The Keytruda is no problem. The Lenvima on the other hand is kicking my butt. Anorexia, oral mucositis, alternating flares of diarrhea & constipation have resulted in an almost 40 pound weight loss. I’m getting a break from Lenvima for one month starting in mid-September for a planned trip to Japan. I’m hoping that the break will help be be able to eat & enjoy my food while traveling.
