Thank you all for the conversations.. it eases my mind some. I would answer each of you personally.. but at the moment I can't see where to do that. I agree that I want to do all I can to keep this from reappearing, as I am helping my parents and I have 3 precious Grandchildren from my daughter-in-law and son that I want to be here for.
Recommended to use a dilator. I feel like I don’t have any side effects from treatment. Follow-up with Dr said it can come down the road. I look at it as quiet time with my new little friend. lol.
I think shrinkage? It could b uncomfortable for vaginal checkups. It’s not so bad. Just have to remember to do it.
Another question Debra.. did they say anything about possible scarring and shrinkage and having to use a dia later?
Hi Debra.. Thank you for responding, I am definitely not looking forward to the brachytherapy, it's probably more anxiousness of something new than anything. It is good to hear that it didn't last long and that you didn't have any side effects. They said mine would only be 3 times so I am Thankful for that and like you SO grateful it was found early. Congratulations on your completion and I will keep you in my prayers for total cure. Get some rest now!
