I had a radical hysterectomy. I now have an endometrial origin cancer mass. I have had four chemotherapy treatments and was started on immunotherapy at the last chemo. My mass is shrinking and there is talk of surgery if the mass has shrunk enough around a main artery near my appendicitis. Im wondering if anyone has had something similar and how are dealing with both treatments at the same time?
It's really encouraging to hear that your mass is shrinking — that's a meaningful sign that the treatment is working! Combining chemotherapy with immunotherapy is an increasingly common approach for advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer, and many MyEndometrialCancerTeam members have navigated this same path.

This only my second round, so far I think it is going well. Day 2 after, I feel like a wet rag. That first week after, I am really slow and tired. As the days go on more energy comes. Good luck and prayers going up! We are in this together! 🙏🏽🫂
Marjorie, I like your question. I would like to know too. I have my second round of chemo with keytruda immunotherapy next week. Good luck to you.
