I’ve had chemo, surgery and currently on maintenance immediately. Last two scans showed NED
I really needed to hear this after recent scans showed the chemo did not work for reoccurrence only after 5 months of surgery.
Congratulations on NED with stage 4. I wanted to share my story to give you more encouragement. Back in 2009 I was dx with stage 1b endometrial and 1a ovarian had hysterectomy. Unfortunately in 2016 I had recurrence that was stage 4 ihad 3 large tumors in my abdomen, rectum and sigmoid colon. I had 6 rounds of chemo then found a wonderful gyn oncologist who was willing to do the surgery. I have been in total remission for 9.5 years. I will be on letrozole indefinatly. Small price to pay for remission. Just wanted to share this with you to give you hope for stage 4
So sorry you had such an early recurrence very frustrating.
What an incredible journey — and two scans showing NED (No Evidence of Disease) is genuinely wonderful news worth celebrating! 🎉
