I had the six chemos at the age of 72 and 73
I didn't get neuropathy but did have knee pains and restless legs the week of chemo
I lost all my hair by the end of the second chemo
The only bad thing is that I became severely anemic as a result of the chemos
Trying to reverse this with vitamins and nutrition
But I am glad this chemo cycle is over

I don’t know what you’re looking for. The reactions or success of carboplatin and taxol I don’t think have anything to do with age, although I’m 70 years. The issue I had with Taxol was neuropathy. Ask you care team/doctor about what precautions you can take for neuropathy. I had an adverse reaction to carboplatin so I had to do my infusions in the hospital under hospital supervision because of blood pressure issues. But this is also a question for your care team
