I am home, haven’t even farted… but walking, took a stool softener, some benefiber and am hopeful. I have oral blood thinner to take for 30 days.

I told the surgeon that I live alone and they will keep me overnight… I know I will rather be in my own bed but a brief rest before the demands of the dog will be helpful.

Thanks. I’m doing too well for my own good… I’m pretty much up all day with a mix of sitting, walking, recliner, etc. I do have pain that wakes me in the night so I get up and if I have a while before I can take more Tylenol or ibuprofen, I have a little snack to protect my stomach. I did drive to town yesterday for a few groceries and am planning to go back to work tomorrow.

Well done 👌 Dont worry too much about your bowels, they get sluggish from surgery. They will get moving in a couple of days. I hope you are feeling ok 😊

I stayed in for 2 nights, and could not wait to get home. They wanted me to be able to walk, poop and inject myself with anti blood clotting medication before I left the hospital
