Yes, they told me two years. I was only on for one year because the immunotherapy worked. I was able to have the operation to remove the cancer. I was stage 4 but now I’m three years cancer free.
ProfT. I was given the same 3 options. I have 4 spots left from my metastic diagnosis/surgery. They are still here after 6 rounds of chemo/immunotherapy. In my gut I know immunotherapy alone won't work like the radiation didn't at stage 2 or the treatment I completed at stage 4b. We'll see how far I get with immunotherapy.
Anyone been told keytruda once every three weeks and lenvima orally daily for the remainder of my life?
My doctor wanted me to do two years of maintenance therapy with Keytruda. I had stage 1A initially but later recurrent metastatic with a stage 4 tumor and pelvic lymph node. Like you I had six treatments of carboplatin, paclitaxel, and Keytruda.
Hi Karen, I started Jemperli with chemo and my Dr said 2-3 years but would monitor and could be closer to 2 years. This was also based on the results of the Ruby study for advanced or recurrence. I have grade 3 stage 3C1. I hope it goes well for you ❤️
